Cookie and Browser Storage Policy
1. Scope
This policy explains the cookies and browser storage used by Accordix. Cookies are small values stored by a browser and sent with requests. Browser local storage is stored on the device but is not automatically sent with every request.
2. Current use
Accordix currently uses first-party storage needed to authenticate users, maintain temporary workflow state, remember interface preferences and avoid repeatedly showing completed or skipped onboarding steps. Accordix does not currently use third-party advertising cookies, behavioural advertising, cross-site tracking or third-party website analytics.

Signing out removes the current browser's authentication cookie. Because authentication uses a signed token, sign-out does not necessarily revoke every previously issued token on every other device before its normal expiry.
4. Local storage
Accordix may store first-party onboarding flags in browser local storage, such as whether a specific guided tour was completed or skipped and whether the user chose to skip tours generally. These values are used to provide the requested interface state and reduce repeated prompts. They are not used for advertising or cross-site tracking.
Local-storage values normally remain until removed by the application, cleared by the user, or cleared by browser settings. Some onboarding state may also be stored on the server as part of the user's account or workspace.
5. Consent and controls
Accordix currently treats authentication, temporary session state and service-requested interface preferences as necessary for providing the requested service. No non-essential advertising or analytics storage is loaded, so no separate analytics or marketing consent banner is currently displayed.
Users may delete or block browser storage through browser settings. Blocking authentication or session storage may prevent sign-in or normal use. Clearing onboarding preferences may cause tours or prompts to appear again.
6. Third-party services
Accordix does not intentionally place third-party advertising or analytics cookies. Opening a third-party website or using a provider-managed surface, such as WhatsApp, may be subject to that provider's own storage and privacy practices.
7. Future changes
Before introducing non-essential analytics, advertising or similar storage, Accordix will update this policy and implement any consent controls required by applicable law before loading that storage.
